Insomnia Program
In any given year, one out of three Americans will experience some difficulty with their sleep. Between 9-18% of Americans have a chronic sleep problem. Insomnia is not only unpleasant but it can impair an individual’s ability to function properly during the day. Insomnia sufferers are more likely to have an automobile accident, and they have more work and health related problems than do good sleepers. The specialists at Keswick Sleep Institute are experienced in helping to locate the source of the sleep problem and offering solutions. There are both behavioral and pharmacologic treatments available and our staff includes a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist in addition to Board Certified Sleep Specialists.
Consultation / Specialty Programs
The Keswick Sleep Institute offers consultation, specialized programs, seminars and lectures on a variety of sleep-related topics.
Adolescence is a time of physiologic change and development and during this time sleep can also be difficult. The Keswick Sleep Institute’s Teen Sleep Program for schools, teachers, parents and students effectively communicates the changes in sleep typically seen in this age group and strategies to help maintain healthy sleep habits for maximum health and safety.
Shift work is another area in which sleep problems are particularly common. Both shift work employees and shift work employers could benefit from The Keswick Sleep Institute’s exclusive Corporate Health Promotion Program “Sleep Health for Shift Workers”.
